For 80 years, these vintage trams were an iconic part of visiting the seaside town of Blackpool. When the tramway was modernised in 2012, classic double-decker fleets were replaced by modern low-floor vehicles. The Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust collected the now redundant trams at their holding compound, aiming to build a heritage museum. Sadly, the trust could not secure funding and appears to have now disbanded.
