Join me as I explore the abandoned RAF Norton Hall base in Lincolnshire England. This episode documents my favourite area, the surgery and operating theatre area. Corridor walls retain painted navigation lines used for wayfinding; the top stripe is blue, indicating the route. A concrete lintel stands above the entrance, featuring the word SURGERY painted in yellow letters on a blue background. Inside the surgical wing, daylight enters the decaying corridor through large circular skylights cut into the ceiling. One room has the remains of an X-ray viewing lightbox on the wall. A room next door has the twisted remains of curtain rails, suggesting a recovery or pre-op ward. The military built RAF Norton Hall during the 1930s to serve as a training and medical base. The site expanded during World War Two to support the war effort. The Ministry of Defence closed the facility in the late 1990s. #NoctonHall #Lincolnshire #History #AbandonedPlaces #Urbex
